Jane fled to my place the other night. (She has Fred, her two sons, father and brother...sometimes too much testosterone). She flopped into the recliner and slipped her shoes (Crocs) off while I made a cup of tea.
Mitzi wondered over and sniffed, then got her head into one of Jane's Crocs, ecstatically smelling the lovely scents from Jane's feet. (Yes, Jane was a bit worried Mitzi might have become anaesthetised from doing that). Then...
along came Bella. Suddenly there's pfffft! slap! and the resulting Mexican stand-off we see here.

There is something mystical about shoes and cats. Hazel loved to put her head into our shoes.

That's really funny cats love to put their noses in shoes and sniff ! that must be their cocain, lol ! Arthur especially loves shoes !
Yes cats and shoes are special. Olli always first sniff and than put his mice in our shoes.

Cats and shoes, yes, they do love them. When we first got our dog Jake from the golden retriever rescue, my husband was traveling a lot. Jake didn't like it so...he ate one of his leather shoes, you know, just to let me know he didn't liek the idea.
Leather is great...it smells long after the odor of feet leaves:)
