In our last post a couple of weeks ago, we mentioned that our mum was going away and that we were going to stay in a cat motel. Mum took us there the day before as she had to get up very early the next morning and the cat motel wouldn't have been open at that time.
She put us in our carry cages and we thought we were going to the vet! Oh it was so scary...we cried in the car, but then we realised that we were going in a different direction. Mum stopped the car and took us out...it certainly wasn't the vet. We hadn't been here before and wondered what was going to happen. A lady met us and took us into a place where there were some other cats. She opened the door to a room with climbing posts, hidey places and a fence where we could see outside. Mum let us out of the cages and then...she went and left us there! We were sure we had been abandoned 'cos mum didn't come back for such a long time.
But the people who looked after us were very kind, still it wasn't our home. Then, one day after ages and ages, we heard mum's voice. We were so pleased to see her that we didn't mind when she put us in our carry cages (although we don't like the car very much). She took us home and gave us lots of cuddles and we purred and meowed and rubbed ourselves against her legs.
It's so good to be home again. Mum took a picture of us on the bed, but it's a bit blurry because we think she was crying...
